Meizu is famous on Engadget, but no one knows it in her hometown, China.
The first time I saw Meizu's news on Engadget, I was shocked. This may be the only brand of cellphone from China which you can find on Engadget. And later I found more and more news of Meizu on Engadget, it seems like Engadget keeps an eye on Meizu’s MiniOne M8. I thought Meizu must be very famous, and I was out of date.
And then I tried to find more information about Meizu in China. I surprisingly found that not many people in China know Meizu. I asked 23 of my friends in China, they all live in big city of China, like Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau and even Hongkong, but none of them knows Meizu. And Meizu is not listed on top Chinese cellphone websites.
